Be the best Christian...

In a morning mass at Sacred Heart Church, Father Eric give an interesting homily.. Its about the preparation for THE DAY OF RESURRECTION… He say as a Christian, we should become the best and not just a good Christian only.


As a human we always want the best for us such as the best job, the best wife, the best worker and so on. Likewise, we also want to enter Kingdom of Heaven and nobody want to enter the Hell but how we can enter the Kingdom of Heaven if we don’t become the best Christian. Become a good Christian only still not enough because who knows even thou we think we are a good Christian but when the Judgment Day we are still below par. So for our own good it’s best to become the best Christian.


Now if Jesus is going to be the judge and his words are going to be the standard or rule by which we are judged it becomes very important that we learn what his words are.


He said “Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of’ Judgement” Matthew 12:36. “He that rejecteth me and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him. The word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day” John 12:48. Jesus spoke of a day of judgement on the last day. He said that two kinds of words were important: what we say and what he said. We will be judged by his words and by our words. This means that we need to pay attention to what we say and to what he says in the Bible


Yeah, I know no one can predict when the Doomsday. But we as a human definitely die one day. So, we should be well prepared for our death.


Anyway, we should start practicing the God words as have been said in the Bible in order to secure places in the Kingdom of Heaven.
